Softball - Fall 2026

Get ready to play fast-pitch! Northwest Little League offers a comprehensive softball program focused on building strong female athletes, emphasizing skill mastery, teamwork, and competitive spirit in a positive environment. Join us for Fall 2026!

IMPORTANT DATES:

Uniform Try-on Days and Evaluation Days (must attend one)

Season Starts - Sept 14th
Fall Ball Bash - Sept 19th

The Early Years (Ages 3-6) (Listed under the Baseball Program)

These divisions provide a great introduction to the sport, building foundational skills and confidence:

Weeball (Ages 3-4): This entry-level division focuses on fun, movement, and very basic fundamentals.
T-Ball (Ages 4-6): Players continue to develop skills by hitting off a batting tee, learning the field, and practicing sportsmanship.

Core Softball (Ages 6-16)

These divisions transition to competitive, traditional fast-pitch softball, following official Little League rules:

Coach Pitch (Ages 6-8): The exciting transition where coaches pitch to the players, helping them master hitting a moving ball and developing strong defensive positioning.
Minors League (Ages 9-10): Players begin to pitch from the mound and experience all the elements of competitive softball, focusing on advanced skills like fielding and base running.
Majors League (Ages 11-12): This is the premier division for Little League softball. Games are played under traditional rules, preparing athletes for the next level of competition and providing eligibility for All-Stars.

Baseball & Teeball - Fall 2026

Get ready for baseball! Northwest Little League offers a clear path for every young player, from their first swing to competitive play, all in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

The Early Years (Ages 3-8)

Weeball (Ages 3-4): This is the introduction to team sports, focusing purely on fun, movement, and very basic fundamentals.
All Weeball activities will be held exclusively on Saturday Mornings and require parent volunteers to operate.
T-Ball (Ages 4-6): Players continue to develop skills by hitting off a batting tee, learning the rules, and building sportsmanship.
Coach Pitch (Ages 6-8): The exciting transition where coaches pitch to the players, teaching them to hit a moving ball and refining their defensive skills.

Core Baseball (Ages 9-16)

These divisions transition to more traditional, competitive baseball, following official Little League rules.

Minors League (Ages 9-10): Players take the mound and pitch for the first time, mastering pitching, catching, and strategic play.
Majors League (Ages 11-12): This is the league's premier division, featuring competitive play and eligibility for the All-Star Tournament.
